Brady's on the move
Today was quite an active day for Brady... he is everwhere. We were lucky enough to have the camera catch him in the act standing by himself. He stood for a while before he knew what he was doing, then proudly grabbed onto the ottoman with a smile.
Big bro Mattie was so proud! Later, Brady got into kitchen doors, gave the doggies some kisses through the window...
After the kisses he immediately found this toy dog and toy water dish. He knew what he wanted to do and completely on his own he gave this toy dog some water... a vet in training?

Nothing like a little R&R in the Desert
Our first official blog entry! This should be a fun way to document life, since none of the Laybourn's are good at putting together photobooks/scrapbooks/etc. We're good at taking pictures though!
We just got back from Palm Desert with Becky's parents... and had a great time. It was hot 105-118 but it was the desert so as long as we were in the pool or inside with AC we had no idea how hot it really was. It was nice to spend time and make memories with Poppie and Aubby!
Mattie turned into a dolphin and now dives (with or without goggles) into the water to find his treasures. Which is an amazing transformation for a boy who loved the water but really didn't like to get his head wet (even in the bath/shower). Now he dives and swims (or paddles... guess we have to start swimming lessons!) with the best of them!
Brady LOVES the water (just like the bath) and we put him in his float and he bobbed around happily all over the kiddie pool. Chris golfed at PGA west (36 holes in one day - the 118 degree day no less!) and Becky got to spend hours in the sun (her favorite!).
