Superheroes!

Superheroes! While we were playing cards with Kiersten this past week, Mattie, Caroline, Nicholas and Brady were supposed to be watching "Cars" downstairs. After hearing a bit too much screaming we checked it out to find, jammies had been taken off (except Brady, he couldn't unzip), capes were on and they were running around a super hero's course they had made. Too funny!

Rachel & Asher

One of Bec's best and oldest friends... Rachel and her son Asher (four months) came to visit from North Carolina for a long weekend. It was busy, filled with late nights and was such a special treat to have them come to visit us!

Ski Date

Up at Snoqualmie, Chris & Bec had an awesome day long date skiing! We hadn't skiied together since we've known each other and we had a BLAST. Definitely a new family hobby... Mattie's starting next fall!!

Snow!

We had a snow storm in Jan... unexpected, cold and beautiful! Here's the view from our porch... and our doggies not sure what to think! We had our first major injury with mattie this morning, stitches in his index finger. He walked upstairs and said "Mommy I need a band aid" ... little did he know he would need his entire finger stitched up and in a splint (he called it his rocket finger) for two weeks! Daddy was the super driver and drove us sliding up and down the roads to get Mattie's finger stitched up in the snow. So we didn't get to play outside in the white wonderland this year.
